How Relevant Is Corporate Social Responsibility for Workers’ Compensation? [Infographics]

Granted on the basis of a detailed medical chart review, workers’ compensation coverage is considered fair and unbiased. However, fear of employee fraud compels many employers to extensively scrutinize workers’ compensation claims filed by employees. This has a negative impact when employees filing genuine claims become stressed and anxious and start feeling guilty for even filing the claim. This is in violation of the corporate social responsibility to which an organization should be committed.
